QR-koder på forsyningsledninger giver fuld sporbarhed

Det har været under­vejs i tre år, men ende­lig kan vi præ­sen­te­re vores nye­ste pro­jekt, der kan ændre måden, vi regi­stre­rer led­nings­da­ta på tværs af for­sy­nin­ger nu og i frem­ti­den. Se med her…

Det startede med Asset Management

I 2017 delt­og vi i udvik­lin­gen af et pro­gram til Asset Management. Programmet skul­le give os et bed­re beslut­nings­grund­lag for renove­ring af led­nin­ger i jor­den til en bed­re pris. Resultatet blev softwa­re­løs­nin­gen data|APX10, der anven­der vores led­nings­da­ta til en ana­ly­se af, hvor det bedst kan sva­re sig at renove­re. Men ana­ly­sen og der­med beslut­nings­grund­la­get afhæn­ger i høj grad af data­kva­li­te­ten. Med ønsket om at høj­ne data­kva­li­te­ten og sim­pli­fi­ce­re regi­stre­rin­gen tog vi der­for i 2019 de før­ste spæ­de skridt til pro­jekt ”Toyota spe­e­der kabel”.

Toyota Speeder kabel lign med fuld sporbarhed

Bilproducenten Toyota mær­ker alle deres spe­e­der­kab­ler med en unik kode, der bli­ver regi­stre­ret i en data­ba­se. Hvis der opstår en fejl på en bestemt type spe­e­der­ka­bel, ved Toyota der­for præ­cis hvil­ke biler, der kører rundt med net­op den type spe­e­der­ka­bel. På den måde kan de nemt ind­kal­de alle rele­van­te biler til reparation.

Som nav­net anty­der var det præ­cis sam­me funk­tio­na­li­tet med fuld spor­bar­hed, vi ønske­de på vores led­nin­ger, så vi altid kan fin­de den eksak­te led­nings­kom­po­nent eller rør­ty­pe, hvis beho­vet opstår.

Sporbarhed på forsyningsledninger

Tre år sene­re hed­der pro­jek­tet ”Sporbarhed på for­sy­nings­led­nin­ger”, og vi er nu så langt, at vi er begyndt at tage de før­ste led­nin­ger med fuld spor­bar­hed i brug. I dag kan vores med­ar­bej­de­re i mar­ken i én og sam­me pro­ces opmå­le led­nin­ger­nes pla­ce­ring og regi­stre­re ”stelnum­me­ret” på røret. Efterfølgende bru­ges regi­stre­rin­gen til auto­ma­tisk at hen­te de rele­van­te infor­ma­tio­ner til vores data­ba­se via et API ved Branchehuset. På den­ne måde sik­rer vi, at vi har præ­ci­se og påli­de­li­ge data til vores Asset Management og ledningsregistrering. 

Projekt med store perspektiver

Projektet er ikke kun bereg­net til Herning Vand, og end­nu engang har vi fået bevis for, hvor langt bran­chen kan kom­me med gode part­ner­ska­ber. Undervejs i pro­jek­tet har vi nem­lig sam­ar­bej­det med både rør­pro­du­cen­ter­ne Uponor og Wavin, bran­che­or­ga­ni­sa­tio­nen for pla­st­rør­spro­du­cen­ter NPG, for­sy­nings­kol­le­ga­er, DANVA og Branchehuset for at kom­me i mål. Projektet her har vist os, at evnen og vil­je til at sam­ar­bej­de på tværs af for­ret­nin­ger, giver os en sam­let gevinst både i Danmark og i resten af ver­den, når det hand­ler om gode løs­nin­ger inden­for vand­bran­chen. Og det er vi – natur­lig­vis sagt med jysk beske­den­hed – svært stol­te af.

QR codes on supply lines provide full traceability

It’s been three years in the making, but final­ly we can pre­sent our newest pro­ject that could chan­ge the way we col­lect data across uti­li­ties now and in the future.

It started with Asset Management

In 2017, we par­ti­ci­pa­ted in the deve­l­op­ment of a pro­gram for Asset Management. The pro­gram should give us a bet­ter decision-making basis for the renova­tion of lines in the gro­und at a bet­ter pri­ce. The result was the softwa­re solu­tion data|APX10, which uses our data for an ana­ly­sis of whe­re it is best to renova­te. But the ana­ly­sis and thus the decision-making basis depends on the data qua­li­ty. With the desi­re to improve data qua­li­ty and sim­pli­fy regi­stra­tion, we there­fo­re took the first baby steps in 2019 for the pro­ject »Toyota spe­e­der cable«.

Toyota Speeder cable equals full traceability

The car manu­fa­c­tu­rer Toyota marks all their acce­le­ra­tor cab­les with a unique code that is regi­ste­red in a data­ba­se. If a fault occurs with a certain type of acce­le­ra­tor cab­le, Toyota there­fo­re knows exa­ct­ly which cars dri­ve aro­und with that par­ti­cu­lar type of acce­le­ra­tor cab­le. In this way, they can easily call in all rele­vant cars for repair. As the name sug­ge­sts, it was exa­ct­ly the same fun­ctio­na­li­ty with full tra­cea­bi­li­ty that we wan­ted on our lines, so that we always can find the exa­ct com­po­nent or pipe type if the need arises.

Traceability on supply lines

Three years later, the pro­ject is now cal­led »Traceability on sup­ply lines«, and we are now so far that we have star­ted to put the first lines with full tra­cea­bi­li­ty into the gro­und. Today, our employ­e­es in the field can mea­su­re the loca­tion of the lines and regi­ster the »fra­me num­ber« on the line in only one pro­cess. Subsequently, the regi­stra­tion is used to auto­ma­ti­cal­ly retri­e­ve the rele­vant infor­ma­tion for our data­ba­se via an API at Branchehuset. In this way, we ensu­re that we have accu­ra­te and reli­ab­le data for our Asset Management and line registration.

Project with great perspectives

The pro­ject is not only inten­ded for Herning Vand, and once again we have been given proof of how far the indu­s­try can go with good part­ners­hips. During the pro­ject, we have col­la­bo­ra­ted with both pipe manu­fa­c­tu­rers Uponor and Wavin, the indu­s­try orga­niza­tion for pla­stic pipe manu­fa­c­tu­rers NPG, sup­ply col­le­agu­es, DANVA and Branchehuset to reach the goal. This pro­ject has shown us that the abi­li­ty and wil­ling­ness to col­la­bo­ra­te across busi­nes­ses gives us an overall bene­fit both in Denmark and in the rest of the wor­ld when it comes to good solu­tions wit­hin the water indu­s­try.
And we are – of cour­se said with Jutlandish modesty – very proud of that.
